Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg night shift position requiring a CO or compact license and at least 1 year of recent hospital Med/Surg experience.
Details
- 40-bed Med/Surg unit staffed with charge nurses, RNs, and PCTs
- Patient ratio of 1:6, with preference for candidates experienced in a 6-patient caseload
- Utilizes wound vacs, kangaroo pumps, and telemetry monitoring equipment
- Charts in Meditech EMR
- Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 13-week assignment length
Requirements
- Active RN license (CO or Compact) currently in hand
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of recent hospital Med/Surg experience required
- Experience with wound care, CIWA assessments, and heparin drips preferred
- Strong time management skills
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced, team-oriented Med/Surg environment
- Ideal candidates have a positive attitude and enjoy collaborative teamwork
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered
