Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Inpatient Rehabilitation unit requiring TX or compact licensure and 1+ years of nursing experience.
Details
- Inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital setting with 66 beds
- Rehab Nursing IRF unit treating patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury
- Geriatric and neuro inpatient rehab patient population
- Patient ratio of 7:1
- Uses Cerner EHR
- Full-time Day shift schedule with a consistent block schedule of Saturday through Monday
- Variable weekend hours required
- No call requirements
- No floating requirements
Requirements
- Active RN or LVN license (TX or compact) required
- Current BLS certification (AHA) required
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
- Nursing degree required (LVN, ADN, or BSN+)
- Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provide inpatient rehabilitation nursing care within a CARF-accredited facility recognized for its Stroke Specialty Program, Brain Injury, and Spinal Cord Injury programs
- Report to the Charge Nurse upon first day arrival at 6:45 AM
- Royal blue scrub color required
- Free onsite parking available
- Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel assignment
- Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
- Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time during the assignment
