Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Inpatient Rehabilitation unit requiring TX or compact licensure and 1+ years of nursing experience.
Details
- Inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital with 66 beds
- Rehab Nursing IRF unit treating geriatric and neuro patient populations
- Patient ratio of 7:1
- Day shift schedule, consistent block of Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
- 36 guaranteed hours weekly
- Variable weekend hours required
- No call requirements
- Uses Cerner EHR
Requirements
- Active RN or LVN license (TX or compact) required
- Current BLS certification required (AHA)
- 1+ years of nursing experience required
- Nursing degree required (LVN, ADN, or BSN)
- Common diagnoses include neurological conditions
Additional Information
- Provide rehabilitation nursing care for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury
- Facility is CARF-accredited for Comprehensive Integrated Inpatient Rehabilitation, Brain Injury, and Spinal Cord Injury Specialty Programs, and recognized as a CIHQ Center of Excellence for its Stroke Specialty Program
- Royal blue scrubs required
- Report time is 6:45 AM; check in with Charge Nurse upon arrival
- Free onsite parking available
- Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility
- Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
- Cannot be employed elsewhere full time
