Description
American Traveler is hiring a Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer with 2+ years experience in general and vascular ultrasound for a Friday-Sunday overnight schedule with on-call and holiday rotation.
Details
- Ultrasound department in a 330-bed hospital with an average of 35 patients daily
- All sonographers hold ARDMS and RVT certification, with 24/7 staffing when positions are filled
- Uses GE Logic E10 equipment and Meditech documentation system
- Scheduling includes M-T 2p-10p and F 2p-8:30p, with call rotation for Friday and Saturday nights on a 4-5 week rotation
- Shift hours are 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM, Friday through Sunday
- Expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of General and Vascular Ultrasound experience
- Advanced arterial vascular experience required
- ARDMS certification required, RVT preferred
- License required if applicable
- Experience performing paracentesis, thoracentesis, thyroid biopsies, and general and vascular ultrasounds
- Must adhere to AIDET patient experience standards
