Description
American Traveler is hiring a Critical Care Float RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring recent ICU/ED experience and a CT or compact RN license.
Details
- Critical Care RN Float Pool position floating between ICU, Intermediate Care, and Medical-Surgical units as needed
- Patient ratios vary by unit and can be discussed during the interview
- 12-hour night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment
- Rotating weekends and holidays required
- Uses EPIC EMR system
Requirements
- Active CT or compact RN license required
- At least 2 years of recent ED and/or ICU nursing experience required
- Current CPR and ACLS certifications required
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Flu and COVID vaccination required, with medical or religious exemptions accepted
Additional Information
- Float between ICU, Intermediate Care, and Medical-Surgical units as part of the critical care float pool
- May be required to work additional hours as part of a mandatory overtime rotation pool to ensure unit coverage
- Orientation held every Monday
- Accepts local candidates within 75 miles of the facility
- First-time travelers are not considered for this position
