Description
American Traveler is hiring a Critical Care Float RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring recent ICU/ED experience and a CT or compact RN license.
Details
- Critical Care RN Float Pool position floating between ICU, Intermediate, and Medical-Surgical units as needed
- Patient ratios vary by unit and will be discussed during interview, with a 5:1 ratio noted for one unit
- 12-hour night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Rotating weekends and holidays required
- 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment
- Uses EPIC EMR system
Requirements
- Active RN license (CT or Compact) required
- Current CPR and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of recent ED and/or ICU nursing experience required
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Flu and COVID vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required
Additional Information
- Float between ICU, Intermediate care, and Medical-Surgical units based on facility needs
- Participate in mandatory overtime rotation as part of the unit staffing pool when required
- Weekly orientation sessions held every Monday
- Accepts local candidates within 75 miles of the facility
