Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg RN for a day shift position in AZ with on-call availability and telemetry experience preferred.

Details

• Med/Surg Adult, Observation, and Telemetry Med/Surg unit
• Day shift schedule, 7a-7p with set schedules
• Patient ratios of 1:6 for Med-Surg/Observation and 1:4 for Step Down
• Uses Meditech EMR, Alaris pumps, and Omnicell medication system
• Optional call available during low census periods, rotating with full-time staff

Requirements

• Active AZ or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Med-Surg and Telemetry experience required
• Step down experience preferred but not required
• Flu vaccine required with no exceptions

Additional Information

• Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be considered
• No more than 3 days of RTO may be requested per 13-week contract
• Facility may cancel up to 3 shifts during the 13-week assignment without guaranteed hours applying
