Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Long Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility position requiring 2+ years of experience and a BSN.

Details

Post-acute Long Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility unit with a current census of 42 residents
Elderly patient population with multiple diagnoses
Patient ratios vary, with days typically 1:21 and up to 1:42
Uses Point Click Care (PCC) EMR charting system
Day shift schedule with both 8-hour and 12-hour shift options available
Every other weekend and every other holiday required
No on-call or call-back responsibilities

Requirements

Active RN license (Standard or Compact) required
BSN required
BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of experience required
Driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

Provide nursing care to elderly residents with multiple diagnoses in a long-term care setting
Location-specific orientation includes 1 day of orientation followed by up to 3 days on the floor with staff
Local candidates accepted within an 80-mile radius at a reduced rate
