Description
American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a float pool position on night shift requiring 2 years of experience and prior travel assignment experience.
Details
- Medical Surgical float pool unit
- Night shift, 3x12 hours (7:00 PM-7:30 AM)
- Patient ratio of 1:5
- Epic charting system experience required
- Floating required across medical surgical units
Requirements
- Active RN license (IN or Compact) in hand
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- ASN required
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Driver's license required for consideration
- Skills in IV therapy, phlebotomy, central and peripheral line care, and blood product administration
- Experience with respiratory care including BiPAP/CPAP, HFNC, and tracheostomy management preferred
- Experience in cardiac monitoring, telemetry, and dysrhythmia management preferred
- Experience with wound care and wound vac management
Additional Information
- Provide nursing care across Med/Surg, MS/Tele, Short Stay, Orthopedics, and Cardiovascular patient populations
- Charge nurse experience preferred
- First-time travelers considered depending on experience level
- Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius at a reduced local rate
