Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiac PCU/Stepdown position requiring cardiac drip titration experience and a TX or compact RN license.
Details
- Acute care setting in a Cardiac PCU/Stepdown unit (Cath lab recovery/Observation unit)
- 12-hour night shifts, every other weekend
- Uses Paragon EMR
- Required to float to Med/Tele and ED hold units when needed
Requirements
- Active TX or compact RN license required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Cardiac drip titration experience required
- Experience pulling sheaths, monitoring sites, and general med/surg patient knowledge required
- Copy of driver's license required for consideration
- Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including employment dates and rehire eligibility
Additional Information
- Provide stepdown-level cardiac nursing care, including post-cath lab recovery and sheath pulls
- Candidates previously employed directly (full time, part time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit-affiliated facility, including CHI or Dignity, within the past year are not eligible
