Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Long Term Care/Skilled Nursing unit, requiring an active MN RN license and 2+ years of experience.
Details
- Long Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility setting within a post-acute care environment
- Two units: Tamarack (20 beds) and Aspen Memory Care Unit (20 beds)
- Night shift position covering both units, with one RN/LPN per unit during days
- Shift schedule of 7a-7p or 6a-6p for RN/LPN roles
- Works alongside CNAs, with staffing ratios varying by shift and unit
- Required to work every other weekend, possibly more
- No floating between units required
- Uses Point Click Care and MEDITECH charting systems
- Physicians round daily, with 4-5 private practice physicians involved in patient care
Requirements
- Active MN RN license required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
- Dementia training required prior to start
- Point Click Care and MEDITECH EMR experience preferred
Additional Information
- Provide direct nursing care across Tamarack and Memory Care (Aspen) units
- Participate in a 3-shift floor-specific orientation
- Any scrub color is acceptable
- Mandation may occur based on facility needs
- Holiday coverage is required
- Must be flexible as assignments can change during shifts
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
