Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Telemetry/Intermediate Care float position requiring recent Epic experience and MD or compact RN licensure.

Details

Med/Surg Tele/IMC Float Pool position, floating from Med/Surg units to IMC units
Night shift, 3x12 hours, 18:30-7:00
Patient ratios of 1:4 to 1:6
Cares for patients with acute respiratory distress, septic shock, hypertensive crisis, severe congestive heart failure, myocardial infarction, unstable angina, and trauma

Requirements

Active RN license (MD or Compact) currently in hand
Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
2+ years of Telemetry experience required
2+ years of prior IMC unit experience in a hospital setting required
Recent Med/Surg Tele experience required in a hospital setting
Recent Epic EMR experience required
Flu shot required
2-step PPD required with no exceptions
