Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department night shift position requiring an active OH or compact RN license and ACLS/PALS certification.
Details
- Emergency Department setting
- Night shift schedule, 7PM-7:30AM
- 13-week assignment length
- Weekend requirement of 5 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
Requirements
- Active OH or compact RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- Associate degree in nursing required; Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and critical thinking skills
Additional Information
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individual patient care using the nursing process
- Provide patient and family education from admission through discharge
- Administer medications and perform treatments accurately and safely
- Document nursing care thoroughly, concisely, and accurately
- Notify physicians of pertinent patient status changes
- Ensure equipment and supplies are available and report malfunctions as needed
