Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced MRI Technologist for an evening shift role at a Level 1 Trauma hospital, requiring NYS DOH Radiologic Technologist licensure and 2+ years of experience.

Details

Level 1 Trauma hospital with 700 beds across two campuses
Radiology MRI department performing a variety of exams, with neuro exams most common
Approximately 16 exams per shift
Closed MRI machines including GE 3 Tesla and GE 1.5 Tesla units
Evening shift from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM
Every other weekend required

Requirements

R.T. (R) (MR) certification required
NYS DOH Radiologic Technologist license required if applicable
NYS IV/Injection Certification required
BLS certification required (AHA only accepted)
Minimum 2 years of MRI experience required
Two professional references from previous managers required for consideration

Additional Information

Perform a variety of MRI exams with a focus on neurological imaging
Local candidates within 60 miles accepted at a reduced rate
Uses Kronos for timekeeping
