Description

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a night shift role requiring an active Ohio RRT license and 2+ years of experience.

Details

• 12-week contract assignment
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 7:30
• Weekend work as needed
• May float to other facilities within the health system

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Active Ohio RRT license required at time of consideration
• License required if applicable
• Active NBRC certification required
• Active BLS certification required
• AHA certifications required and must be active, no pending certifications accepted
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty required
• Travel experience not required

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered
• Expected to work every other holiday
• Facility is smoke and nicotine free with no exceptions
• Negative 10-panel drug screen including nicotine/cotinine testing required within 12 months of start and updated annually
• COVID-19 vaccination required with medical or religious exemptions only
• Flu vaccination required with medical or religious exemptions only
• Background check findings of any kind will be reviewed by the facility; license-related findings are not accepted
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date
• Assignments are limited to 18 consecutive months, followed by a required 6-month break before returning to the same health system
• All RTO and scheduling requests must be communicated during the interview process
