Description
American Traveler is hiring a RN for a Cath Lab position requiring at least 1 year of Cath Lab experience and active PA or Compact RN license.
Details
- Work in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab setting, including diagnostic and interventional cath lab and hybrid OR
- Day shift schedule: 5x8-hour shifts, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM
- On-call shifts run 7:30 AM-4:00 PM
- Call requirements include one evening per week and every 4th weekend (Friday 4:00 PM-Monday 7:00 AM), typically for STEMIs or symptomatic NSTEMIs
- Floating required within the hospital and to sister facilities within a 10-mile radius as needed
- Cerner charting system experience preferred
Requirements
- Active PA or Compact RN license required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required (AHA certifications only)
- Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience required
- First-time travelers considered with 2+ years of Cath Lab experience
- Experience circulating and monitoring Cath Lab procedures required
- Experience with Balloon Pump, Impella, Shockwave, and Rotablator required
Additional Information
- Perform circulating and monitoring duties for a variety of cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
- Candidates must be willing to work every other holiday
- Two supervisor references preferred
- Must reside within a 50-mile radius; local candidates not accepted under local rate rules
- Former permanent employees of the facility are not eligible to return as travelers
- Travel pairs accepted based on facility need, though matching schedules cannot be guaranteed
