Description

American Traveler is hiring an Oncology RN for an outpatient infusion and chemotherapy role requiring a UT or compact license and ONS Provider certification.

Details

• Outpatient Nursing Services (OPNS) setting providing oncology care
• Responsibilities include infusion therapy, chemotherapy administration, and some wound care
• Works closely with a small patient caseload in a rural hospital setting
• Day shift schedule, 8am - 5pm

Requirements

• Active UT or compact RN license required
• Current ONS Provider certification required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Wound Care certification preferred but not required
• Strong knowledge of infection control principles and patient safety techniques
• Demonstrated critical thinking skills in rapidly changing situations
• Full COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption required
