Description
American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN for a night shift Float Pool position requiring EPIC experience and availability to work holidays.
Details
- Float Pool unit within an acute care hospital setting
- Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM-7:30 AM, with 36 or 48-hour weekly options
- EPIC experience required
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from an approved vendor required
- Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certification required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the specialty required, 3 years for ER, ICU, Cath Lab, or OR
- BSN and acute care facility experience preferred
- No prior adverse action on license permitted
Additional Information
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients according to established standards and the nursing process
- Supervise and direct nursing staff while coordinating care with other disciplines
- Collect and analyze patient data to determine diagnoses, develop care plans, and evaluate outcomes
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to support a safe and healing environment
- Participate in discharge planning and provide patient/family education
- Holiday coverage required; RTO requests for holidays will not be approved
- Maximum of 5 days RTO permitted for consideration
- Accepts local candidates with no radius restriction; local pay rates match travel rates
