Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced PCU/Telemetry RN for a float pool position requiring AZ or compact license and Cerner experience.
Details
- PCU/Telemetry step-down unit for patients transitioning from ICU-level acuity
- Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
- Requires working 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
- Float pool position requiring willingness to float between departments and four facilities: Northwest Medical Center, Oro Valley Hospital, Northwest Houghton, and Northwest Sahuarita
- Patient ratio of 6:1
- Cerner EMR experience required
- Care for cardiac patients requiring cardiac drip management and familiarity with TAVR and WATCHMAN/MitraClip procedures
Requirements
- Active AZ or compact RN license
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of recent PCU/Telemetry experience required
- Experience managing cardiac drips and familiarity with TAVR and WATCHMAN/MitraClip procedures required
- No certifications expiring within first 30 days of assignment start
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- Active driver's license and US SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
- Scrubs of any color permitted
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this position
- Candidates who worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered
- RTO requests must be less than 1 week
