Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an acute care hospital setting with pelvic floor therapy experience and PRPC or WCS certification preferred.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting within a 50-bed medical center featuring a level IV trauma center and level II intensive care nursery
• Day shift schedule, 5 x 8-hour shifts with no weekends
• Serves as co-leader in an interdisciplinary approach to patient care
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree required if licensed on or after January 2016, or foreign equivalent
• 2-3 years of Physical Therapy experience preferred
• PT licensure in state of practice required, if applicable
• BLS certification required
• Pelvic floor therapy experience preferred
• PRPC or WCS certification, or actively working towards certification, preferred
• Epic experience required

Additional Information

• Completes evaluations, establishes individualized treatment and discharge plans, and provides therapy interventions using appropriate protocols
• Supervises assigned assistants
• Completes comprehensive and accurate clinical documentation within established deadlines
• Communicates care plans to appropriate parties
• Accepts local candidates at the same pay rate as travel positions
• Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will not be considered
• Candidates with a prior adverse licensure action will not be considered
