Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an acute care hospital setting, requiring 2+ years of experience and EPIC proficiency.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting within a 50-bed medical center featuring a level IV trauma center and level II intensive care nursery
- 5-day per week, 8-hour day shift schedule, Monday through Friday
- Variable start times of 7:30 or 8:00 AM with a variable lunch break of 30 or 60 minutes
- No weekend shifts or on-call requirements
- EPIC EMR experience required
Requirements
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree required for licenses obtained on or after January 2016, or foreign equivalent
- 2 years of physical therapy experience preferred
- Current PT licensure in state of practice required if applicable
- BLS certification required
- EPIC experience required
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include conducting patient evaluations, developing individualized treatment and discharge plans, and providing therapy interventions using appropriate protocols
- Serves as co-leader in an interdisciplinary approach to patient care groups
- Supervises assigned therapy assistants
- Completes comprehensive and accurate clinical documentation within established deadlines
- Accepts local candidates with no radius restriction, as local rates match travel rates
- Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will not be considered
- Candidates with a prior adverse licensure action will not be considered
