Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Cardiopulmonary position requiring 2+ years of cardiac experience and NM or compact RN licensure with no nights, weekends, or call.

Details

• Work in the Cardiopulmonary Specialty Services unit of a level III trauma center
• Adult patient population with common diagnoses including chest pain, congestive heart failure, and shortness of breath
• 1:1 patient ratios
• Uses vital monitors and GE CASE (Cardiac Assessment Stress Exercise machine)
• Cerner EHR experience
• Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, 4x9's
• No weekends, holidays, night shifts, or call required
• No floating required

Requirements

• Active RN license (New Mexico or Compact) required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA only)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Associate's Degree in Nursing required
• Cardiac experience preferred

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care within a cardiac specialty unit
• Facility is a 198-bed, level III trauma center that also receives trauma level I and II cases via air transport
