Description
American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN for a night shift assignment requiring recent L&D experience and Epic proficiency.
Details
- Labor and Delivery unit within an acute care hospital setting
- Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Floating may be requested based on facility needs
- Uses Epic EMR system
Requirements
- Active VA RN license or compact license in hand
- Current certifications: BLS and NRP required; ACLS and AWHONN Intermediate preferred
- Minimum 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery experience required
- Previous charge nurse experience required
- Specialty experience within the last year required
- NIH Stroke Scale education required
- Epic charting experience required
Additional Information
- Provide skilled nursing care within a Labor and Delivery unit
- Local candidates accepted at the same base rate
- Candidates previously employed permanently with the health system must have a gap of at least 6 months before being eligible for travel assignment
- Minimal RTO preferred, with no more than 7 total days off requested during the assignment and no additional requests approved after offer
- First-time travelers are not considered for this position
