Description
American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a 13-week day shift assignment requiring 2+ years of experience and NM or compact RN licensure.
Details
- General Medical-Surgical inpatient nursing unit, including Rehab
- Occasional non-critical pediatric patients on the floor
- Patient ratio of 1:6
- Day shift schedule, 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
- Floating required
- No regular on-call schedule, though census-based flex on-call may occur prior to shift start
- Uses MedHost EMR
- Any color scrubs permitted
Requirements
- Active RN license (NM or compact) required
- BLS certification required
- ACLS and PALS certifications preferred
- 2+ years of recent Med/Surg experience required
- No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment
- Active driver's license and US Social Security Number required for consideration
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Fingerprinting is required for all New Mexico travelers, which can take several weeks to process
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered
- RTO requests must be less than one week
- Travelers who have worked at the facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years will not be considered
- Blocked scheduling and 48-hour guarantees may be accommodated if requested at the time of application
