Description
American Traveler is hiring a COTA for a school-based pediatric position in California, with new grads and pending CA license candidates welcome to apply.
Details
- School-based occupational therapy assignment serving multiple school sites in Trinity and Shasta counties
- Pediatric and school-aged patient population
- Day shift schedule, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- 40 hours per week
- Responsibilities include schedule planning, evaluation, and treatment program design and implementation
- Travel between multiple school sites required with mileage and travel time reimbursed
Requirements
- Active California Occupational Therapy license required if applicable; pending CA license accepted
- Bachelor's degree required
- Valid driver's license required
- New graduates welcome to apply
- NBCOT certification preferred
- Experience with pediatric populations, including autism, early intervention, handwriting, learning disabilities, neurodevelopmental treatment, sensory integration, and visual perceptual skills preferred
Additional Information
- Provide occupational therapy services to pediatric and school-aged clients across multiple school sites
- Position based out of the Redding office
- Local candidates accepted at the same rate
- Preference for candidates available for the entire school year
