Description
American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for a Home Health assignment requiring 1+ year of recent experience and HCHB proficiency, serving a geriatric patient population.
Details
- Home Health setting serving geriatric patients
- Monday through Friday schedule with flexibility to work weekends if needed
- Day shift, 8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Average of 5-7 patients per day with 6 visits daily or a minimum of 30 points weekly
- Territory covers up to a 60-mile radius from the hub office
- No weekend requirement
- On-call rotation may be required, to be discussed during interview
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of recent, relevant Home Health experience required
- OASIS experience required for completing Start of Care (SOC)
- Proficiency in HCHB (Homecare Homebase) EMR required
- BLS certification required
- License required if applicable
- Active driver's license and personal transportation required
Additional Information
- Timely communication and documentation required
- Scrubs required, any color, no jeans permitted
- iPad provided by facility
- Mileage reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
- Monday orientation required
- Hospice/Home Health checklist mandatory for consideration
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this role
- Former permanent employees must be separated for at least 6 months and approved by HR before returning as a traveler
- Travel pairs accepted, though each traveler is assigned their own territory and must have their own transportation
- Local candidates accepted at the travel rate
- Requested time off must be submitted at the time of application
