Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring 2 years of OR experience and active MI licensure.
Details
- Work in a hospital Operating Room with 13 OR rooms
- Hybrid OR equipped for complex vascular and less-invasive cardiac procedures
- Day shift schedule, 12-hour shifts (0648-1918), 3 days per week
- No weekend requirements
- On-call required Wednesdays from 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM
- Hospital-provided scrubs
Requirements
- Active MI RN license required at time of consideration (no compact license accepted)
- Current BLS (AHA) and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred
- Skills checklist completed within the past year required
Additional Information
- Provide direct and indirect nursing care across the nursing process, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation
- Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development principles across the patient age continuum served by the unit
- Facility is a regional leader in open heart surgery
- Must reside within a 35-mile radius of the facility to qualify for the full travel rate
- Full-time employees of the health system are not eligible for contract hire within six months of their employment end date
- No more than 5 days of requested time off allowed during the assignment
