Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring 5 years of L&D experience and KY or compact RN licensure.

Details

• 295-bed acute care hospital setting providing services to an 11-county region
• Labor and Delivery unit with 6 LDRs, 5 outpatient rooms, 2 ORs, and 1 recovery room
• Night shift from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Required to work 2 weekends per month
• Float requirements include Postpartum/Mother-Baby units
• Follows AWHONN patient ratio guidelines
• Uses GE Centricity/wireless fetal monitoring equipment
• EHR systems used include Meditech and Centricity

Requirements

• Active KY or compact RN license required
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring certifications required
• Minimum 5 years of Labor and Delivery experience required
• Experience circulating or scrubbing in OR procedures required
• Rural community hospital experience required

Additional Information

• Hospital offers cardiac care and an advanced neurosurgery program with Spine Center accreditation
• Scrub color required is OR seal blue
• Hoodies and sweatshirts are not permitted as part of dress code
• Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel assignment
• Weekly orientation held on Mondays
• Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full-time
