Description
American Traveler is hiring a PCU/Telemetry RN for a day-shift position requiring AZ or compact RN license and Cerner EMR experience.
Details
- Med/Surg/Tele unit within a hospital setting
- Day shift schedule: 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, 3x12-hour shifts
- Work 6 weekend shifts (Fri/Sat/Sun) per 6-week schedule
- Floating required
- Cerner EMR experience required
Requirements
- Active AZ or compact RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of recent PCU/Telemetry experience required
- Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Provide shift-based patient care utilizing the nursing process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy
- Demonstrate critical thinking, clinical judgment, and leadership in care planning and delivery
- Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
- Delegate and supervise patient care tasks commensurate with staff experience and education
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered
- Previous CHS perm staff are not eligible if employed within the past 2 years
- RTO requests must be less than 1 week
