Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Department RN for a night shift (7P-7A) travel assignment, requiring at least 1 year of recent ER experience and TNCC/ENPC/CPI certifications.
Details
- Work in a high-volume Emergency Department with 40+ beds and 120+ staff
- Patient ratios of 4:1 (3 rooms and 1 hall bed during high volume)
- Unit utilizes cardiac monitors, EKGs, ultrasound, Belmont Rapid Infuser, IO drills, and Lifepak devices
- Common procedures include IV starts, phlebotomy, and cardiac monitoring/interpretation
- Uses Meditech EMR
- Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 13-week assignment
Requirements
- Active RN license (Missouri or Compact) required
- Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department experience required
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, ENPC, and CPI
- US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (Canadian SSNs not accepted)
- Two professional references required for Missouri assignments
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Deliver emergency nursing care in a fast-paced, high-volume ED setting
- Collaborate with CNCs, team leads, advanced paramedics, EDTs, and support staff
- Best suited for adaptable, team-oriented candidates who remain positive under pressure
- High-pressure or prior medical experience preferred
- Dress code: gray scrub top with black or gray scrub bottoms for RNs
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates not accepted
- First-time travelers may be considered
