Description
American Traveler seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC-SLP and 3+ years of experience for a skilled nursing facility, with local candidates accepted.

Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Speech-Language Pathology license required if applicable
- Minimum 3 years of experience required
- BLS certification
- Long-term care or skilled nursing facility experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with 2-person assist above that weight
- Strong documentation, communication, and interdisciplinary teamwork skills
Additional Information
- Evaluate and treat residents with communication disorders and dysphagia, including modified barium swallow studies
- Develop and modify individualized therapeutic plans of care with functional long- and short-term goals
- Collaborate with physicians, caregivers, and interdisciplinary care teams, attending relevant team meetings
- Recommend and train residents on communication and swallowing assistive devices
- Provide resident and caregiver education and document responses to teaching
- Maintain required licenses, certifications, and annual compliance training
- Support department cleanliness and infection control procedures
