Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist with 2+ years of general radiology experience and ARRT(R) certification for a night shift position.

Details

  • Radiology department setting
  • Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, Saturday through Monday
  • 36 hours per week across 3 shifts
  • 4 call shifts required per month

Requirements

  • ARRT(R) certification required
  • State Radiology Tech License (RAD) required; license required if applicable
  • BLS certification required
  • KY license required by start of assignment
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in general radiology

Additional Information

  • Produce and retain high quality diagnostic images meeting department, organizational, and industry standards
  • Prepare patients for procedures, provide education, and respond to questions or concerns
  • Apply radiation safety techniques and devices to minimize exposure to patients and staff
  • Demonstrate understanding of patient positioning, imaging technique, radiation safety, imaging equipment, infection control, and quality control techniques
  • Oversee and train students providing patient care as part of their training
  • Apply age-appropriate approach to communication, safety needs, and patient education
