Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of CT experience and Philips experience for a Level II Trauma Center teaching hospital.

Details

• Imaging department at a tertiary teaching hospital with a Level II Trauma Center designation and a busy Emergency Center
• 5x8 hour afternoon shifts from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Every other weekend required
• Possible on-call requirements
• Uses Cerner EMR

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CT experience required
• Philips equipment experience required
• BLS and ARRT certification required
• License required if applicable
• Must be able to work 2 of the 3 upcoming holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's)
• Compact license not accepted

Additional Information

• Coordinate and perform all CT scanning procedures, including patient positioning, contrast administration, and image capture
• Maintain equipment calibration and quality control per department guidelines
• Monitor patients for allergic reactions and respond to emergency medical situations as needed
• Navy blue scrubs required
• First-time travelers considered
• No more than 5 days of RTO can be requested
• Local candidates within a 35-mile radius are subject to a reduced local traveler rate
