Description
American Traveler is hiring a PCU RN for a day-shift role requiring NC or compact RN license and cardiac telemetry experience with a 1:5 patient ratio.
Details
- PCU unit within a hospital setting
- Patient ratio of 1:5
- Day shift schedule, 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
- Weekend rotation required
- Holiday rotation required
- No on-call responsibilities
- Floating required to any Cone Health campus as needed
Requirements
- Active RN license (NC or Compact) required, must be in hand at time of consideration
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Cardiac telemetry experience required
- Experience with management and interpretation of dysrhythmias required
- Experience with peripheral line care/management and PICC line management required
- Experience titrating drips required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Must pass a compliance EKG exam (two attempts allowed)
- Valid driver's license required for address verification
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include managing cardiac and vasoactive drips, dysrhythmia interpretation, and peripheral/PICC line care
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility, as local candidates are not accepted
- RTO must be submitted with the initial application; no post-submission RTO requests accepted
