Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a KY or compact license and prior ED experience.

Details

• Level 3 Trauma Center emergency department with 28 beds
• Staffing includes CNC, RNs, PCTs, Unit Clerk, and Greeter across shifts
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Uses GE monitors, Lifepaks, Baxter IV pumps, Ranger rapid infuser, and Ranger blood warmer
• Documents in Meditech Expanse EMR
• Shift runs from 1:00 PM to 1:00 AM
• 13-week assignment

Requirements

• Active KY or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent ED experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Facility is an Accredited Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI capability and Stroke Certification
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
• No local candidates will be considered
