Description
American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for a 13-week overnight contract requiring ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification and 1+ years of experience.
Details
- Hospital-based MRI unit within a 209-bed facility
- Night shift staffing includes 1 MRI tech, 1 X-ray tech, 1 CT tech, and 1 US tech
- Uses GE Artist 1.5 MRI equipment
- EMR is Meditech with Fuji Synapse PACS
- Schedule is Monday-Thursday, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- On-call not required but preferred if willing
- Performs neuro, general body, and MSK procedures
Requirements
- Current ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required
- BLS certification required through AHA or ARC
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience required
- Multimodality experience in XR or CT preferred
- Must be a team player able to work independently
- License required if applicable
- US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
- One professional reference required (two required for Florida and Missouri)
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Performs MRI scans for neuro, general body, and MSK cases
- Works as part of a small overnight imaging team alongside X-ray, CT, and ultrasound technologists
- Dress code requires olive top with black bottoms or all-black scrubs
- Permanent positions may be available on the unit
- Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates are not accepted
