Description
American Traveler is hiring a Travel MRI Technologist for a hospital imaging department requiring 6 months of recent MRI experience and ARRT (MR) certification.
Details
- Work in a hospital MRI department within a 304-bed facility
- Schedule is Tuesday through Friday, 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM
- On-call coverage required Tuesday and Thursday nights from 9:30 PM to 7:00 AM
- Uses GE 1.5T MRI equipment
- EMR systems include Meditech and Centricity PACS
- Typical procedures include basic MRI of head, spine, and abdomen, plus cardiac and functional MRI studies
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months of current experience as an MRI Technologist
- ARRT (MR) certification required
- BLS certification required
- License required if applicable
- GE equipment experience preferred
- Cardiac MRI experience preferred
Additional Information
- Perform basic MRI studies of the head, spine, and abdomen, as well as cardiac and functional MRI
- Join a team of 4 full-time and 3 PRN staff members
- Ideal candidates are self-motivated, positive, and work well independently
- Facility is located near Denver, CO, offering easy access to mountain recreation, shopping, and dining
- Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered
- First-time travelers may be considered
