Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist for a day shift contract role requiring ARRT registration and Cath Lab experience.
Details
- Work in the Cath Lab unit of a community hospital offering cardiovascular care and special procedures
- Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM, 5 days/week, with openness to 4x10 hour shifts
- Call requirements of 6-10 days/month, including weekends, depending on staffing needs
- One weekend per month required in addition to call coverage
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Radiology Technology or graduate of a JRCERT accredited Radiography Program required
- ARRT registration required
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required within one year of hire
- One year of Vascular and Cardiac Cath Lab or Special Procedures experience preferred
- Compact license not accepted
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Perform special procedures, vascular, and cardiovascular diagnostic studies
- Coordinate special procedure examinations to ensure quality and continuity of patient care
- Contribute to efficient department operations and support the patient's plan of care
- Candidates must live or stay within 30 minutes of the facility for the duration of the assignment
- Local candidates within a 35 mile radius are considered local travelers with adjusted travel rates
- Up to 5 days of RTO may be requested during the assignment
- Former McLaren full-time employees are not eligible for contract hire within six months of their employment end date
