Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Long Term Care unit requiring an active HI RN license and at least 1 year of experience.
Details
- Long Term Care facility located on the hospital campus
- 13-week assignment with 8-hour shifts on a varied schedule including weekends and holidays
- Candidate must be flexible with no guarantee of specific hours or shift preference
Requirements
- Active HI RN license required by start of assignment (can apply upon acceptance of offer if not yet held)
- Minimum of 1 year of experience required
- BLS certification required
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include patient assessments, treatments, medication administration, and notifying MD/NP of pertinent information
- Performs admitting/discharging duties and ADL assistance
- Provides Gastrostomy Tube care, Urinary Catheter care, Nebulized Treatments, Wound Vac care, CPAP care, and Tracheostomy care
- Must report to Employee Health 48-72 hours prior to assignment start, with appointments scheduled onsite at Hilo Employee Health
- Travelers with a Monday start should plan to arrive in Hawaii the preceding Thursday to report to Employee Health that Friday morning
