Description
American Traveler is hiring a PACU RN for a 6-week acute care assignment requiring CA RN licensure and recent PACU or critical care experience.
Details
- Work in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) of an acute care community hospital
- Day shift schedule, 4x10 hour shifts (10:00-20:30 or 10:30-21:00)
- Uses Epic EMR
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA or ARC only)
- Minimum 2 years recent clinical experience in critical care or PACU in an acute care setting of similar size and complexity
- Minimum 2 years experience with airway management
- Experience with central lines and post-procedure care in a critical care or PACU environment
- Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of the nursing process addressing physical, psychosocial, and psychological patient needs
- Nursys license verification uploaded within the last 2 weeks
- 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year
Additional Information
- Must reside within a 50-mile radius to be considered a local candidate for local rate
- Former travelers or staff must have a 1-year separation before returning to this facility
- Max RTO of 7 days per contract, with only 1 holiday request approved per contract
- Observed holidays include New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day
- Must be available to complete lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing
- 7-year work history verification required for all candidates
- Only allowed to submit to one Sutter Health facility at a time
