Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 2+ years of large-ED experience and multiple specialty certifications.
Details
- Work in a 65-bed Emergency Services department
- Patient ratios include Shock 2:1, Core 4:1, Psych 3:1, and Exam 6:1
- Uses Alaris Pumps, Phillips Monitors, Belmont Rapid Infuser, and Rover equipment
- Epic EMR used for charting
- 3x12-hour mid shifts from 11a to 11p
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call requirements
- Floating required according to skill set
Requirements
- Active RN license (IN or compact) currently in hand
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
- Minimum 2 years of recent emergency nursing experience in a large ED required
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to adapt to fluctuating patient volume in a fast-paced environment
Additional Information
- Provide emergency nursing care across varying patient acuity levels in a high-volume ED
- Navy blue scrubs required
- Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius to qualify for the local (reduced) bill rate
