Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a day shift position at a teaching hospital, requiring 2+ years of current RRT experience.
Details
- Work in the Respiratory Therapy unit of a 298-bed teaching hospital
- 12-hour day shift from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
- 36-hour guaranteed work week
- Every other weekend required, with holiday work as needed
- No call requirements
Requirements
- License required if applicable
- Massachusetts RRT license required
- Active RRT certification through the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- Active BLS certification (AHA)
- Minimum 2 years of current RRT experience required
- CRTs will not be considered for this position
- Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred
- ACLS and PALS certifications preferred
- Must have own vehicle for this assignment
- Supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment required
Additional Information
- Must work two holiday blocks if scheduled: Thanksgiving Day/Friday after and the following weekend, Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and the following weekend, and New Year's Eve through New Year's Day and the following weekend
- Travelers may not take all holidays off
- No more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted, and all requests must be submitted at time of profile submission
- Scheduling and RTO requests made after offer or at interview will not be approved and may lead to a rescinded offer
- Permanent address must be included in profile to avoid delays in processing
- Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered
- Travelers must have voicemail set up and note availability for facility contact
