Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Labor & Delivery night shift position requiring 2+ years of L&D experience and 2+ years of travel experience.
Details
- Hospital Labor & Delivery unit
- Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, 3 days per week
Requirements
- Active RN license issued by Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or current multistate compact RN license (eNLC)
- BLS and ACLS (AHA) certifications required
- Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certificate required
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Advanced Provider or NRP Instructor certification required
- Associate's Degree from an accredited nursing school required, BSN or MSN preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of L&D experience required
- Minimum of 2 years of travel nursing experience required
- Full DOB and SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provides nursing care to a variety of patients with health needs ranging from simple to complex
- Assumes responsibility for an assigned group of patients and documents patient responses to nursing interventions
- Assists physicians with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures and treatments
- Administers medications and monitors IV infusions and blood products
- Communicates care plans with patients and families and provides discharge education
- Delegates tasks to support staff as needed
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered
- Workers may extend only once for a total of 26 weeks, after which a 6-month separation is required before reapplying
- Credentialing and compliance deadlines are strictly enforced with no flexibility for start date pushes
- 30-day written notice required if ending an assignment early
