Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN - Operating Room with a minimum of 2 years of recent specialty experience for a 13-week assignment.
Details
- Surgery department on the ground floor of a hospital setting
- Operating Room position covering a variety of cases including robotics, neuro, ortho, plastics, and gyn
- 12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts per week, scheduled Monday through Friday 6:45AM-7:15PM
- No on-call responsibilities
Requirements
- Active RN license (GA or Compact) currently in hand
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Operating Room specialty experience required
- Required certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) per AHA
- Preferred certification: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) per AHA
- Expertise across multiple surgical specialties including robotics, neuro, ortho, plastics, and gyn
Additional Information
- Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered for this position
- Returning staff who were previously permanent employees must have taken a 2-year break before returning as a traveler
- RTO must be requested upfront prior to offer acceptance and cannot be requested afterward
