Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Emergency Department position requiring TX or compact RN licensure, TNCC certification, and at least 1 year of recent ED experience.

Details

• Emergency Department setting at an acute care hospital
• 13-week contract assignment
• Shift runs from 1:00 PM to 1:00 AM

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted), not expiring within first 30 days of start
• TNCC certification required for ED placement
• CPI certification required for ER units (SAMA, MAB, or ACPMA may be accepted in lieu of CPI)
• NIH Stroke Certification required
• 1 year of recent experience in the Emergency Department specialty required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates are not accepted
• First-time travelers may be considered if experience requirements are met
