Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN - Operating Room with OR circulating experience and Epic EMR proficiency for a 13-week assignment.
Details
- Work in a 13-suite Operating Room supporting general, robotics, urology, vascular, dental, plastics, ENT, ophthalmology, orthopedic, neurosurgery, and gynecology specialties
- Day shift schedule, 0640-1510 Monday through Friday
- No block scheduling allowed
- On-call required one night per week plus call every 4th weekend (day call Sat/Sun 7a-7p, night call Sat/Sun 7p-7a)
- Holiday call coverage required
Requirements
- Active RN license (NC or compact) currently in hand
- BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
- Minimum one year of nursing experience required
- OR circulating experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Nursing Diploma, ADN, or ASN from an accredited nursing program required; BSN or MSN preferred
Additional Information
- Deliver competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards within a hospital surgical setting
- Coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process while reporting to the Nurse Manager/Director
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Perform bedside point of care testing as required for the patient care plan
- Participate in unit performance improvement activities and promote cost-effective, safe patient care
