Description
American Traveler is hiring a Maternal Fetal Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week contract requiring 1+ year of OB/GYN and maternal fetal sonography experience.
Details
- Maternal Fetal Medicine and High Risk OB work setting
- 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- No weekend, holiday, or call requirements
- No floating required within the facility, though travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities
- Epic EMR experience preferred
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience required
- BLS and ARDMS OB/GYN certification required; NT certification preferred
- License required if applicable
- Maternal Fetal and OB/GYN experience required
- Experience with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester imaging, fetal anatomical survey, fetal echo, nuchal translucency screening, amniotic fluid index, and umbilical cord doppler
- Experience with transvaginal, transabdominal, renal/pelvis, and uterus imaging
- GE equipment and PACS experience preferred
- Doppler studies and amniocentesis experience preferred
- Proficiency with isolation precautions and PPE preferred
Additional Information
- Perform maternal fetal and obstetric ultrasound imaging including fetal anatomical surveys, fetal echo, and growth assessments
- Assignment includes 2-4 weeks of unit orientation
- First-time travelers will be considered
- Former Providence permanent staff must have a 3-month separation before returning as a traveler
- Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position
- Two supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years are required
