Description
American Traveler is hiring a Pediatric Echo Technologist/Cardiac Sonographer with 2+ years experience including neonate echo for a day shift assignment.
Details
- Pediatric echo department performing neonate and pediatric echocardiography
- 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM
- No float or weekend shifts required, but candidate participates in weekend and evening call rotation with full-time staff
- Call required
- GE echo equipment used
- Performs pediatric echo, M-mode, and portable studies
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience required, including adult and pediatric populations and neonate echo
- ARDMS or CCI certification required
- NM state license required (pending accepted)
- License required if applicable
- Experience with adult acute care, ED, ICU, and pediatric acute care settings preferred
- TEE experience preferred
- Epic charting experience preferred
Additional Information
- First-time travelers accepted
- 50 mile local radius required; local candidates not accepted
- Previous staff must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler
- Maximum of 4 days RTO can be auto-approved
