Description
American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer for Maternal Fetal Medicine, requiring ARDMS OB/GYN certification and Fetal Echo experience or certification.
Details
- Maternal Fetal Medicine/Obstetrics unit performing high-risk OB ultrasound
- Patient population includes high-risk obstetrics and maternal fetal medicine cases
- Day shift, 5x8 hour schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- 40 hours per week with no weekends or holidays required
- Uses Philips ultrasound equipment
- Epic charting system preferred
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
- ARDMS OB/GYN certification required
- ARDMS Fetal Echo certification preferred; candidates with fetal monitoring experience without certification will be considered with documentation or recommendation
- BLS certification required
- MA state license required if applicable
- Teaching hospital experience preferred
- Skills in OB/GYN imaging across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester
- Experience with amniotic fluid index, fetal anatomical survey, nuchal translucency screening, placenta previa, and umbilical cord Doppler
- Experience with inter/intra-orbital measurements and multiple pregnancy imaging preferred
- Fetal Echo imaging skills preferred
- Experience with transvaginal and renal/pelvis imaging preferred
- Experience assisting with amniocentesis preferred
- Two professional references required, with at least one from a Nurse Manager or higher
Additional Information
- Perform ultrasound imaging for high-risk obstetric and maternal fetal medicine patients
- Accepts local candidates at the same bill rate within a 75-mile radius
- Up to 14 days of RTO may be submitted for review, with no RTO allowed during the first week
- Returning staff must have a 12-month separation from the health system
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
