Description
American Traveler is hiring a PACU RN for an acute care facility requiring 1 year of experience and a CA RN license.
Details
- Work in the PACU unit of an acute care hospital
- Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts, typically 11:00-23:00 with some variable start times around 8:30
- Pre/Post care assignments have varying start times depending on the area assigned that day
- Flexibility required due to shift variability across assigned areas
- PACU nurses are expected to stay and complete the full shift as outpatient surgery has no shift relief
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required (pending license accepted)
- Minimum 1 year of PACU experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
Additional Information
- Acute care facility setting
- Scrub color is flexible: scrubs or business casual accepted
- Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state
- Minimal to no RTO allowed, with no more than 7 days requested
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
